Prestige Water Butt Linking Kit – Tank to Tank

Use this set to link water butts together so they fill either sequentially or in parallel, allowing you to add capacity to your system.

Linking water butts at the top means water will overflow from the ‘source water butt’ into the receiving water butt. The first water butt will fill then the 2nd, then the 3rd and so on.  In this set up each water butt requires its own tap since each vessel is essentially separate from the adjacent water butt -each water butt will have its own top water level.

An alternative way to extend capacity is to link the water butts at the base. This is usually only possible if the water butt has a bottom threaded connection.  In this scenario the water butts become a single tank, rising and falling together -all tanks maintain the same top water level.

This linking set should not be mistaken for cheaper quality linking kits widely available which use spiral black conduit.

The Prestige linking kit includes:

• 2 No. 3/4″ x 19mm  Tank Connectors with hose tail
• 2 No. O-Rings
• ~30cm clear 3/4″ hose

If this being ordered with the Prestige Water butt or Manhattan Water Butt, one hosetail/overflow will be supplied loose to allow connection to the water butt first, as both hosetails/overflows cannot be fitted concurrently as one will run counter-clockwise.
