MANHATTAN WATER BUTT OVERFLOW KIT

If you’re connecting your downpipe directly into your Manhattan water butt you’ll need to ensure you have some way of discharging flows when the level reaches the top of the tank otherwise water will spill from the tank in all directions!

The overflow can be directed into drain, another tank or another area of the garden or raised bed.

The Manhattan overflow kit creates a sleek, discreet look by using a length of solid pipe. Depending on the desired location of the discharging water, the overflow can also be installed at the rear of the tank.

For the majority of residential single pitched roofs (<50m2) a 32mm overflow will suffice for the majority of storms conditions. 40mm is also available.

The Manhattan overflow pack comprises:

• 1 32mm /40mm tank connector
• 1 32mm / 40mm bend
• 1 32mm / 40mm solid pipework – The length is dependant on which overflow is purchased.
